Welcome to the new walker

Today we brought home a brand new walker - on loan from a charitable organization - to try out with C. That's it over there on the right.

It is similar to the one shown us at the rehabilitative center where C. had a multi-disciplinary assessment several weeks ago. C. seemed to respond well to that one.

But this one also looks identical to a model owned by the school, which I used with C.

For two years, 3 hours each week, I would walk C. around the school corridors in the evenings. (I was a lot younger and more energetic).

C. never achieved independent walking in it and I finally admitted defeat about six years ago. So, while I'm willing to give this another shot, I'm not bringing much optimism to the endeavor.
